  • My father's family name being Pirrip, and my Christian name Philip, my infant tongue could make of both names nothing longer or more explicit than Pip.

You didn't really think I'd completely bastardize the whole of the novel, did you? But, as long as I already have your attention, allow me to introduce the newest collection of Charles Krypell to have joined our cases.

Maybe it is just me, but this turquoise is the perfect shade for summer. Reminiscent of both the summer sky, and if you're lucky enough to spend any time at the shore, the ocean; it's the perfect foil to sterling silver. Simply add a sundress and sandals to any (&/or all) of these pieces and you'll be perfectly cool and on trend.

    Buttons for brunching,

    dangles for cocktail-ing.

    Long for a short dress,

    short for a long one.

Also trending for summer, these sweet sterling silver and gemstone pieces.  The perfect little pop of color, they can take you from farmer's marketing, to sightseeing, through dining al fresco and cocktails at sunset.

These Amethyst earrings will accent your eyes,

while either (or both!) of these rings complement your summer manicure

These gorgeous earrings will look great with hair up, or down,

while this blue topaz necklace looks great above neckline scoop, or v.

Stop by either of our stores to see the above, and more! Be prepared to stay awhile, you'll want to try everything on.

Alright, alright! But only because you asked for it...

I took her hand in mine, and we went out of  [Zimmer Brothers Jewelers/ Boutique] and, as the morning mists had risen long ago when I first left the forge, so, the evening mists were rising now, and in all the broad expanse of tranquil light they showed to me, I saw no shadow of another parting from her.

    Harry Potter.

    Fish n' Chips.

    The Royal Family.

Is it just me, or are you obsessed with the British Royal Family as well? I'll date myself -I remember watching Princess Diana's wedding. And, at one point in my life, planned to wear a very similar dress. I also watched Dutchess Kate's wedding. And, perhaps, drooled over that dress as well. Do not even get me started on the ring either. OMG, I still obsess over that giant sapphire halo'd with proportionately giant diamonds. #swoon I couldn't be more in luv with it.

Now, if you watched Kate marry her Prince William, you remember someone practically stealing the fashion show- her gorgeous sister, Pippa. That dress, that rump in that dress- who didn't fall just a lil bit in luv? I can tell you who already was, long before that- James Matthew, gazillionaire and pretty adorable in his own right. Add lucky in love, as he recently took to his knee and not only popped THE question, but also really nailed THE ring. Have you seen it?

To say I quite fancy it doesn't quite cut it. To say that I, too, would be chuffed to have it upon my finger doesn't either. It's bloody fabulous!

Not only has Miss Middleton (almost) upstaged her sister (yet again), she has set in to effect a trend so perfect, that anyone would be a nutty to say anything other than "absobloodlylutely" to a kneeling man holding any of the below aloft. Pippa will be flattered...

  • She's stacked!

...and if she isn't, she wants to be. Trust me. The only thing better than a ring, is several of them!

Try as we might to control every aspect of our proposal- when (now!), where (THE most romantic place ever), and with what (the biggest diamond anyone has ever seen), many of us are surprised by every single decision he made on his own leading up to that most perfect moment. Yes, we showed him 497 pics of the rings we liked. & yes, they represented 497 different styles and yet he found THE ONE.

Now, with the most perfect of rings on our finger and wedding planning on the brain, we have much more control over the end result. How did he do it? How did he narrow down the options? Selecting a wedding band might even be harder though, because the 'canvas' is no longer blank.

A halo? Yum, all those diamonds... so delicious. You know what is a perfect match? More diamonds.

Three halos? annnnnnd blue Sapphires? You can't go wrong with a non-traditional-ish crisscross band of diamonds. Pair those with yet another, more simple band of bling and you really can't go wrong.

Even less traditional, but no less fan-freaking-tastic? Going sans engagement ring on your typical finger and going full on knuckle to knuckle with bands going every which way but wrong. The best part of this stack, it's only three bands, but look like so many more.

Not that our hearts don't also beat for traditional? Few things are as classic as a solitaire paired with a simple band- be it diamonds or engraved, both of these looks are perfectly gorgeous.

    Me? My perfect, perfect stack?

    Well, onnnnllllllyyyy because you asked...

I get weak in the knees for this pear shaped, natural pale pink, double halo engagement ring. Should I ever be lucky enough to possess it, I shall celebrate it with mixed golds of rose and white and my very favorite- diamonds, diamonds, diamonds.

Which is YOUR favorite way to style your engagement ring?! Share with us on social medial, or come in and visit with us. The diamond counter is the perfect place to play with so, many, choices. It's always best to be prepared and what better way than with practice, practice, practice?
